Weekend "Up North"

Just come back from a lovely weekend visiting Jenny. Well, the weekend itself was lovely but the journey up was a nightmare. When my train arrived at Watford it was absolutely crammed full. In the end everyone managed to get on but there must have been at least 40 people standing in my carriage alone. I hadn't realisd that it would be so busy...then someone pointed out that we were on the first non-commuter train out of London on a bank holiday weekend! Mind you, it was predictable that the train would be busy so they really should have put on an extra carriage or two to cope with the extra people. Anyway, apart from that the weekend was really nice, and this week is a four day week so all is good!
