Crocked Chimnies and Wicked Ladies

Last night I went out for a meal with Catherine and three of her old schoolfriends. The plan was to drive into the country to find a random pub. The drive there was extremely dark, but seeing as we were driving down a very narrow, winding, unlit road I think that this is proof that there is countryside surrounding St Albans. We found a couple of pubs and in the end decided on the Crooked Chimney. The other choice was the Wicked Lady...maybe we should give that one a go next time!
